Fantasy fan and author

My name is Benjamin Wicka and I love to read and write.  Ever since Sir Terry Pratchett inspired me to read I have been immersed in fantasy worlds, creating my own stories and characters.  I like to use them to explore various concepts and ideas, though my main aim is always to entertain.
I am a huge fan of animation and have naturally found myself drawn to the various shows coming out of Japan.  As much as I enjoy anime I also love the efforts of such companies as Disney and DreamWorks.
Cooking is a passion of mine (or should that be eating) and love to make things from scratch as much as possible.  This includes bread for which I have many of the artisan tools if not all the skills.
